Lessons Learned from Seven Years of Living in Heartland Hell:
(1) Expect no respect, neither for your person nor your property nor your rights in either. You have no rights here.
(2) Expect to be
harmed and to have no legal or other recourse.
(3) Expect no one to
know or to obey the laws, especially not the police, the attorneys,
or the magistrates.
(4) Expect everyone
to lie as naturally as they breathe.
(5) Video-tape and
photograph everyone and everything at all times. Without evidence, lies
rule.
(6) Expect no one to
do what they have contracted or promised to do.
(7) Believe no one,
no promises. Expect no integrity, no morals, no honesty, no ethical
behavior.
(8) Expect that
liars and those without integrity be the same who hold and abuse
power.
(9) Expect that
liars and those without integrity treat only others of their own kind
with credibility and recognition.
(10) Expect to be
trampled upon.
(11) Expect to be
treated as prey.
(12) Expect
malicious intentions. Not one of them is above it.
(13) Expect people
to be friendly only when they are using you or on your payroll.
(14) Expect people
to resort to deviousness as a first resort, belligerence and
coercion as a second.
(15) Do not expect
charitable behavior, mercy, or human kindness.
(16) Expect
ignorance. Expect prejudice. Expect pettiness. Expect vindictiveness.
In spite of the many Christian churches, expect no Christian
behavior.
(17) Expect an
attitude of superiority, and condescension.
(18) Expect Lunacy,
mental illness, deranged thinking.
